Yes, you should consult with professional advisors in order to ensure that your testamentary wishes can be achieved.

Question 2: Will a bequest to the State of Israel entitle my estate to an estate tax deduction?


In many cases bequests to the state of Israel which specifies that the bequest be used in Israel for  "charitable cases" or for a specific charitable object will generally entitle the estate to a charitable tax deduction under local law.


Question 3: Is it possible to make an anonymous donation?


Yes. All the necessary steps will be taken in order to ensure that the Identity of the donor is held in the strictest confidence.


Question 4: Can we make a donation in memory of someone?


Yes, and if required, a memorial plaque may be dedicated in that person(s) memory

Question 5: Are there any taxes in Israel on gifts or legacies?


No, all donations and legacies are tax-free in Israel. Estate taxes were abolished in Israel in 1981.
